Intersolar 2024: Where Innovation Meets Implementation
The doors of Intersolar Europe 2024 have closed, but the energy and momentum of those days continue to resonate with us. As Europe’s leading trade fair for the solar industry, this year’s event welcomed over 110,000 visitors from 176 countries—an impressive testament to the dynamic growth of the sector and the rising importance of renewable energy solutions.
Three Days of Powerful Connections
At our two exhibition booths—at Intersolar and EES—our team engaged in numerous inspiring conversations about the future of solar energy and storage solutions. The excitement was palpable as visitors explored our extensive portfolio, from our proven HIKRA® solar cables to our innovative HISbatt energy storage solutions.
Innovation in Action
The trade fair proved to be an excellent platform to showcase how our diverse product lines work together to create holistic energy solutions. Visitors showed particularly strong interest in our HISkon+ solutions—a clear indication of the industry’s growing focus on efficiency and integrated approaches. Through live demonstrations and interactive displays, we made our innovations tangible, highlighting how we are driving the solar industry forward.

HIK and HIS Renewables join forces to form HIS Technology
Oberzent, 20.07.2026 – HIK and HIS Renewables have always cooperated closely as sister companies and are now even more closely connected: The two companies are merging and will henceforth appear together on the market under the name HIS Technology. The rebranding of the two companies is expected to be fully completed by the end of August. The merger combines the long-standing experience of HIS Renewables GmbH in integrated energy infrastructure solutions with the technological expertise of HIK GmbH in electrical and mechatronic Plug & Play solutions for industrial automation.

HIS at Intersolar 2026
HIS Renewables GmbH will demonstrate at Intersolar Europe 2026 (June 23-25) in the Munich Exhibition Center how well-thought-out system solutions make solar projects safer, more efficient, and more economical. At booth B4.409, the focus will be on three core areas: PV safety infrastructure, installation systems, and integrated energy systems. Live demonstrations such as an EMS dashboard give trade visitors an impression of real-life project implementation.
