The roots of HIS Technology go back several decades. While HIS builds on more than 20 years of experience in renewable energy and energy infrastructure, HIS Industries (HIK) brings more than 40 years of expertise in cable assembly, assembly manufacturing and control cabinet construction.
Today, HIS Technology unites this know-how under a shared brand. From our location in Germany, we support customers across Europe and internationally with innovative solutions for energy and technology markets.
PV cabling & components
HIS Renewables develops and supplies components and systems for modern energy infrastructures. These include solutions for photovoltaic systems, battery storage, charging infrastructure and the electrical connection technology within energy projects.
Our goal is to make energy available safely, efficiently and sustainably – from generation and storage to distribution.
String combiner boxes bundle several PV strings and bring them together safely and efficiently. They perform important protection and monitoring functions within a photovoltaic system and help to increase the operational safety, ease of maintenance and performance of the entire installation.
Thanks to their pre-assembled and standard-compliant design, installation effort and sources of error can be significantly reduced.
Our products are developed and manufactured in accordance with the relevant national and international standards for energy and electrical engineering. Depending on the product and application area, they meet the requirements of applicable IEC, EN and DIN standards as well as project-specific certification requirements.
We will gladly inform you on a product-specific basis about the standards, tests and certifications relevant in each case.
Assembled cable harnesses & wiring sets
Pre-assembled cable harnesses considerably reduce assembly effort, installation times and potential sources of error. Because the cables are already manufactured and tested to defined specifications, customers benefit from fast commissioning, high process reliability and consistent quality.
Particularly in energy and industrial applications, pre-assembled solutions enable efficient installation and help to implement projects more economically and reliably.
Yes. HIS Renewables supports projects throughout the entire product life cycle – from development and prototype construction through pre-series to series production.

Battery storage & energy management
HIS Renewables develops and integrates solutions for the storage, distribution and intelligent use of energy. These include battery storage systems, energy management solutions as well as the associated infrastructure and system integration.
Our goal is to store energy efficiently, reduce peak loads, optimise self-consumption and ensure a reliable energy supply. We support our customers from planning through technical implementation to commissioning.
Our solutions are used wherever energy is to be used, stored or controlled efficiently. These include, among others, industrial and commercial sites, energy and infrastructure projects, charging infrastructures for e-mobility as well as applications in the field of renewable energy.

Electromobility & charging infrastructure
EVtap is HIS Technology's charging solution for electromobility. The portfolio comprises intelligent AC and DC charging solutions for companies, public institutions, parking areas as well as commercial and industrial applications.
The systems enable reliable, safe and future-proof charging of electric vehicles and can be flexibly integrated into existing energy and infrastructure concepts.

HIS Industries develops and manufactures tailor-made solutions for industrial electrical engineering. Our range of services comprises cable assemblies, wiring sets, electromechanical assemblies, control cabinet construction as well as individual system solutions – from development to series production.
As an engineering and manufacturing partner, we support our customers throughout the entire project process. Through modern manufacturing technologies, high quality standards and many years of experience, we realise economical and reliable solutions for the most diverse industries and applications.

HIS Industries supports its customers along the entire value chain. In addition to manufacturing, we offer engineering, technical consulting, material and component selection, prototype construction, quality inspections as well as logistics and procurement services. Control cabinet construction
HIS Industries relies on end-to-end, digitally supported processes – from planning through manufacturing to testing and documentation. By integrating engineering data, standardised workflows and modern manufacturing technologies, we create transparent, efficient and reproducible processes that ensure consistently high quality.
HIS Industries processes common E-CAD and CAD data formats, including for example EPLAN projects, STEP files and other industry-standard formats. The technical data are integrated directly into our development, manufacturing and testing processes, ensuring efficient project handling and high process reliability.
Yes. On request, HIS Industries realises complete system solutions – from planning and construction through wiring and labelling to testing and documentation. The systems are delivered ready for connection and are optimally prepared for fast and efficient commissioning.
Cable assembly & cable harness manufacturing
HIS Industries manufactures individual cable assemblies for the most diverse applications – from single conductors and wiring sets to complex cable harnesses with connectors, labelling and protection systems. All solutions are manufactured to customer specification and delivered ready for connection.
Yes. HIS Industries supports projects from sample and prototype production through small series to large-scale series production. Thanks to standardised processes, we can respond flexibly to different quantities and project requirements.
Depending on the project, we take into account the relevant customer, industry and product specifications as well as, on request, standards and approvals such as UL or VDE. All manufactured cable assemblies undergo defined testing processes. We document the results transparently and, on request, make the corresponding test reports available.
Digital wiring set configurator
With the digital wiring set configurator from HIS Industries, you configure wiring sets quickly and easily online. After configuration, you automatically receive an individual quotation and can place your order directly. Plausibility checks support a low-error configuration and ensure an efficient ordering process.
Yes. Common CAD and E-CAD data can be integrated into the configuration process. Bills of materials, lengths, cross-sections, colours and labelling are adopted and form the basis for efficient manufacturing – both for individual orders and for series production and repeat orders.
Engineering, data & integration
Yes. HIS Industries supports projects as early as the development phase. Through close cooperation between engineering, material selection and manufacturing, solutions can be optimised at an early stage, development times shortened and costs reduced.
In addition to manufacturing, on request we also handle material procurement, technical documentation as well as the labelling of components and assemblies. In this way, we create transparent processes and ensure the efficient implementation of your projects.
Yes. We handle the procurement of the required components and, if needed, advise on suitable alternative parts. In the event of supply bottlenecks, we coordinate possible alternatives closely with our customers in order to implement projects on schedule and economically.

Getting started is straightforward: contact us with your project requirements, technical specifications or existing planning documents. Our team analyses the requirements, advises on possible solution approaches and develops a suitable implementation concept together with you.

Yes. HIS Technology processes common E-CAD and CAD data formats and integrates them into development, planning and manufacturing processes.
By adopting technical data directly, projects can be implemented efficiently, coordination efforts reduced and high process reliability ensured. The supported formats and interfaces are agreed individually in each project.
The minimum order quantity depends on the respective solution, the product and the project requirements. HIS Technology handles both individual projects and prototypes as well as small and large series. We will gladly prepare an individual quotation for you that is tailored to your requirements and the respective project scope.
Logistics, delivery capability & service
HIS Technology develops individual delivery and logistics concepts tailored to the requirements of the respective project. Depending on the product, project scope and needs, we offer flexible delivery models, call-off and framework agreements as well as demand-based warehousing and supply concepts in order to ensure reliable and on-schedule implementation.
Yes. Even after a project has been completed, we remain at your side as a reliable partner. We provide support with technical questions, repeat orders, product adaptations, spare parts as well as the provision and updating of technical documentation. Our aim is a long-term collaboration and sustainable support throughout the entire life cycle of your solution.
